Originally piloted in Rhondda the scheme has been rolled out across all of Rhondda Cynon Taff with regular meetings and a telephone hotline offering gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people the opportunity to raise issues that affect them, report harassment or discrimination or just meet and chat.

The forum can provide help and information about all sorts of issues. For example the Housing Association can help with problems surrounding tenants who feel they are suffering abuse or discrimination because of their sexuality, or the NHS Trust can offer help with any health related issues. The Gay Business Network offer its support in helping LGBT business owners and other LGBT people looking to set up in business.
